01 · Serving southern New Mexico

A practice between the Organ Mountains.

Land of Enchantment Law's Las Cruces office sits on Lucero Avenue, a short walk from the Doña Ana County courthouse and a few minutes from the NMSU campus. The firm serves Las Cruces and the broader Doña Ana area — Mesilla, Sunland Park, Anthony, and the I-25 corridor running south from Truth or Consequences.

Las Cruces has its own legal weather. A border-adjacent real-estate market, a large NMSU-driven student-athlete population (and our Texas license, which lets us cover UTEP-side NIL questions too), a small-business community concentrated around defense, agriculture, and the university, and a steady stream of military-relocation and retirement planning matters from White Sands and Holloman families settling in the area.

Most subscription work happens by phone, video, and the secure client portal, so you can work with the firm from anywhere in southern NM. In-person meetings at the Lucero Ave office are by appointment.

04 · Questions from Las Cruces clients

Local answers.

Do you handle NIL for NMSU Aggies — and UTEP across the state line?

Yes. NMSU athletes are part of our regular NIL caseload, and because the firm is also licensed in Texas, we can handle UTEP-side NIL questions for athletes and families who cross the state line for school. NIL Go review for any deal ≥ $600, contract review, agent agreements under the NM Uniform Athlete Agents Act, and LLC formation for athletes who need a business entity. See the NIL page.

Do you handle border-area real estate transactions?

Residential, yes — purchase contracts, sale contracts, deeds, FSBO support, and owner-financed deals. We do not handle cross-border commercial real estate or transactions requiring Mexican counsel; for those we refer to a binational firm.

Do you appear in 3rd Judicial District courts?

Yes, when a matter calls for it. Court representation is a separate flat-fee engagement — subscription members get discounted defense rates and member rates on civil litigation if we take the case.

Where exactly are you in Las Cruces?

516 E. Lucero Avenue, Suite 575, a short walk from the Doña Ana County courthouse and a few minutes from the NMSU campus. Free on-site parking, suite-marked. By appointment.

Do you work with retirees and dual-state families?

Yes — estate planning for newcomers from out of state, dual-state planning (for clients who keep property in another state), and TOD deed work for owners who don't need a full trust are all part of our regular estate-planning caseload here.
